The client is now preparing for installation, where the devices will play a critical role in protecting subsea umbilicals and cables from overbending and potential damage.

Specifically engineered for the challenging subsea conditions, the offshore bend restrictors feature a robust, mercury-free polyurethane construction. Designed and tested in accordance with stringent standards, they are built to ensure a 25-year design life. Their interlocking vertebrae mechanism is designed to lock securely at a pre-determined radius, effectively transferring bending moments away from the vulnerable flexibles and into the adjacent rigid structure.
Application: Protecting Critical Subsea Infrastructure
The offshore bend restrictors will be installed at the critical interface between flexible dynamic cables and fixed structures within the Vietnamese project.
