Philson has secured a major contract to supply its high-performance polyurethane cable protection systems for the commercial expansion phase of a key floating offshore wind project off the coast of Japan.
Building upon the successful delivery of the initial phase, Philson will provide a comprehensive solution comprising bend restrictors, distributed buoyancy modules (DBMs), and polyurethane cable protection sleeves to safeguard the dynamic array and export cables. Scheduled for installation in the third quarter of this year, this milestone marks a significant step forward in the development of commercial floating wind infrastructure in Asia.
